David Lloyd Clubs opens three new luxury sports centers in Madrid

If the pandemic has taught us anything, it’s the importance of taking care of our health. Therefore, sports clubs and centers are more in demand than ever, as they allow us to exercise while improving our physical and mental well-being. In this sense, one of the labels with the longest professional career is David Lloyd Clubs. It is the largest premium health and fitness group in all of Europe (130 clubs in 9 countries). In addition, in the last quarter of 2022, they expanded their activities in Spain by acquiring three new sports clubs in Madrid: La Finca, Serrano and Las Lomas.

After the relevant adaptation to the new buyer has worked, these new spaces are destined to become a sporting, social and family reference in Madrid. Together with the club they already have in Aravaca, the group will have four clubs in the region and consolidate itself as the main operator of sports and social clubs in the Community of Madrid.

More than wellness and fitness

In each of the David Lloyd Clubs centers you will not only find a space to train, but you can also enjoy all the facilities and spend the whole day there. The new spaces of La Finca, Serrano and Las Lomas will revive three of the Madrid community’s most traditional clubs, but which have stagnated over the past decade.

If you come with kids, they have one wide leisure offer so that all members can enjoy, both individually and as a family. You will therefore find all kinds of events, activities and even children’s parties, but also restaurants with seasonal products. Breakfast on the terrace under the sun or eat quietly? You can do it while the little ones have fun in the tennis, paddle tennis or swimming programs.

Likewise in the DL Kids, Holiday Active and All Stars programs, they also offer special gym, tennis and swimming lessons for members over 11 years old. The sessions take place in areas reserved exclusively for children and are synchronized with the group exercise program for adults.

Extensive investments and expansion

The farm is a spacious club located 20 minutes west of Madrid, which will be transformed to offer a wide range of facilities for health, fitness and racquet activities. It is supplemented with Highlander, located in the center of the city. It occupies a privileged place in the ABC shopping center and is intended for professionals who want to exercise closer to their workplace. Both clubs are undergoing a complete renovation to offer their members the best environment and experience, with an investment of 10 million euros.

In addition, with the aim that its members can enjoy the various services and areas even more, David Lloyd Aravaca it will also be fully restored. Among the novelties of this center, the state-of-the-art equipment will be expanded and both the high-impact study and the body and mind study will be modernized.

For its part, the Las Lomas club becomes the the group’s eighth operational club in Spain, following ambitious plans to expand throughout Spain in the next two to five years. So for its development they made an investment of 15 million euros.
