Brazilian parapsychologist Athos Salomé has claimed that two of his 2026 predictions have already come true, according to a report by Wionews. Salomé, who is often called the living Nostradamus in media reports, warned that the next major event could be a conflict in the Arctic region.
Salomé claimed he previously predicted an escalation between Iran and Israel. He also claimed he correctly identified the winner of a football tournament by stating the champion would feature colors symbolizing fire. Salomé stated that while many psychics and commentators predicted victories for other national teams, he determined the finalists and repeatedly stressed that Spain was the most likely champion.
Arctic and Sahel Forecasts
According to Salomé, melting Arctic ice in 2026 could trigger competition over new shipping routes and natural energy resources. He said this situation could lead to direct confrontations and increase tensions between Russia and NATO member countries.
Salomé also suggested that instability could intensify in Africa's Sahel region. He specifically pointed to the growing activity of extremist groups in northern Niger.
Methodology and Disclaimer
Salomé distinguishes himself as a parapsychologist rather than a psychic. He stated that he relies on symbolic analysis, pattern studies, and Kabbalah to form his forecasts. He acknowledged that no prediction method is infallible, noting that forecasts are interpretations rather than certainty.
Media outlets have previously reported that Salomé allegedly predicted the COVID-19 pandemic and the death of Queen Elizabeth II. However, practices such as astrology, tarot, numerology, palmistry, and psychic readings are not scientific disciplines, lack objective evidence, and are often considered entertainment rather than reliable tools for planning or health decisions.
