Universal Pictures has released the debut trailer for "Violent Night 2." The holiday action comedy opens in theaters worldwide on December 4.
The original film followed Santa Claus as he saved a wealthy family on Christmas Eve. In the sequel, Santa forgets the true meaning of the holiday and ends up in the heart of a busy shopping mall that desperately needs his help. Without his magic to rely on, he must find another way to deal with the criminals, rediscover his faith in goodness, and call in someone no villain wants to cross: Mrs. Claus.

The film stars David Harbour ("Stranger Things"), Kristen Bell ("Nobody Wants This") and Daniela Melchior ("Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3"). Tommy Wirkola ("Dead Snow") directed.
