Kev Adams becomes Telethon’s youngest sponsor. The 31-year-old comedian was present on the set of Téléthon yesterday, December 2, with Sophie Davant and Nagui to host this 36th edition.
Kev Adams, who was very involved in this task, did everything to encourage viewers to donate. And he was able to swap on set with Franck Dubosc, a former godfather, also a humorist, to talk about that commitment that’s close to his heart.
Asked by Sophie Davant about the origin of their meeting, Kev Adams says with humor: “I met Frank when I was 14, he was already 62, I remember at the time”.
“Little crook!” followed by the star of Camping, who was a little offended by this little cover of his age.
Kev Adams returned to his seriousness and continued, “He was the sponsor of Telethon, it’s kind of like sponsorship in this profession, someone who gave me a lot of advice, whom I loved a lot and made us who we are.” Everyone has been dreaming in his sketches and movies for many years.”
“I’m so proud… What’s your name?” replied Franck Dubosc, determined to make fun of Kev Adams in return. And to continue: “Kev was chosen for this year’s Telethon because he represents so many things to the young, not so young, finally for everyone. Even for me, the oldest, he is an example that should continue. “.
In 2014, the two men responded in the movie “The Son”.
That’s why Kev Adams is happy to take the torch and said of his role as godfather: “I will try to overcome this challenge. Honestly, I was one of those French guys who stumbled upon the Telethon every year, told himself it was great, and sent 3637 some money, but without really measuring everything behind it. I had the opportunity to meet the researchers there. We’re not leaving unscathed…”
As of 8am this Saturday, pledges to combat rare diseases have surpassed 9.3 million. One trick to donate is 3637!
