Jonathan Bennett, the star of Hallmark The Holiday Sittercelebrates the channel’s “inclusive programming” by producing films starring an LGBTQ+ couple.
“I’m just proud to be a part of the Hallmark Channel, which does so many inclusive shows The Holiday Sitter, this is an LGBTQ+-led Christmas movie,” Bennett told E! News. “I’m just so proud to be on the Hallmark Channel and make these films for everyone, because Christmas is for everyone and Hallmark Channels is for everyone.”

Bure also said the films shown under “Candace Cameron Bure Presents” will “keep traditional marriage at its core.” Her comments were met with backlash, with celebrities including JoJo Siwa and Hilarie Burton calling her out on social media.
Hallmark Channel has set the premiere date for The Holiday Sitter for Sunday, December 11 and Bennett also said in the interview that “audiences are going to die for the Christmas movie.”
“It’s the most fun movie with so much heart and so much humor,” he added.
According to the Hallmark Channel log line for The Holiday Sitter, the story revolves around Sam, a workaholic bachelor who babysits his niece and nephew during the holidays. When he enlists the help of her handsome neighbor Jason, he finds himself in an unexpected romance.
George Krissa plays Bennett’s love interest in the film.
