Aycox’s death was confirmed by her sister-in-law, Susan Raab Ceklosky, in a Facebook post.
“My beautiful, smart, fierce, incredibly talented and loving sister-in-law Nicki Aycox Raab passed away yesterday with my brother Matt Raab by her side. Nicki and Matt had a wonderful life together in California. She was definitely a fighter and everyone who knew her loved her,” she shared.
Aycox appears supernatural between 2006 and 2008 in the role of Meg Masters and shared scenes with Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki.
supernatural Creator Erik Kripke continued to respond to Aycox’s failure Twitter and said: “Shocked to hear that the wonderful #NickiAycox, our first #MegMasters, has passed away. Too young. She was a delight and delivered lines like honey and poison. I’m amazed at how she could use a simple word like ‘fad’ made ‘legend created’.
The actor had other television credits, among others cold case, LAX, Ed, Law and Authority, Vegas, dark blue, VS high, Dark Angel, Ally McBeal, X files, boy meets world, providenceamongst other things.
Movie credits for Aycox included Wow 2, Complete stranger, tom cool, Christina and The girl on the train, to name a few. Her last acting role was in the 2014 film died on campus where she played the character of Danielle Williams.
