Pierce Brosnan is a happy grandfather!
The 69-year-old Fast Charlie actor announced the birth of his newest grandchild in an Instagram post on Thursday. According to Brosnan, his grandson Jaxxon Elijah Brosnan was born at 3:06 p.m. on Saturday, November 12.
Jaxxon, Brosnan’s fourth grandchild, is the second child of his wife Sanja Banic and son Sean. The couple is also the parent of 7-year-old Marley May.
“All the best to you my dear grandson, welcome. Congratulations dear Sean, Sanja and Marley. Peace be with you”He wrote the former James Bond next to two adorable close-up photos of Jaxxon.

Pierce Brosnan has two great-grandchildren, Isabella and Lucas, from his late adopted daughter Charlotte, who died of ovarian cancer in 2013.
Alongside Sean and Charlotte, Brosnan is the father of a 50-year-old son named Christopher from his marriage to Australian actress Cassandra Smith, who also died of ovarian cancer in 1991. She gave birth to two sons – Dylan, 25, and Paris, 21.
Pierce Brosnan previously spoke to Irish newspaper The Herald in 2015 about his pride as a grandfather.
“I’m a proud grandfather now. There’s still so much life in the old man and I’ll keep going until I can’t go anymore. Life is so precious”he said at that time.
And the player to add: “It can be taken from us without warning, so why waste it? That’s why I enjoy my wonderful, beautiful family, children and grandchildren.”
