“Behind The Music” Paramount+ Docuseries Starring Jennifer Lopez, Boy George, Jason Aldean and Remy Ma

New episodes of behind the music with Jennifer Lopez, Boy George, Jason Aldean and Remy Ma coming to Paramount+.

The new episodes of the documentary series will appear on the streamer on November 29. Plus, even remastered episodes featuring Boyz II Men, Christina Aguilera, Gloria Estefan, Hootie & the Blowfish, Mötley Crüe, Pink and TLC will be released on the same day.

A trailer released Friday gives a look at what to expect from each of the four new episodes — including Aldean discussing filming during his set at the 2017 Las Vegas Route 91 Harvest Festival.

Here are the loglines of the new episodes:

  • After three decades, Jennifer Lopez is at the top of her game and shows no signs of slowing down. J.Lo reflects on key moments from her legendary career in music, film and fashion as she celebrates her gift with husband Ben Affleck.
  • Boy George reflects on his meteoric rise from outcast to global superstar of the 1980s with Culture Club. A tumultuous love affair, intense fame and addiction all but destroyed his career – but 40 years later, he’s still an LGBTQ+ pop icon.
  • Jason Aldean is a small town boy turned country superstar who never shied away from life and changed the country music genre forever.
  • Remy Ma shares her journey to becoming the queen of New York hip-hop. Her road to fame with the Terror Squad was paved with losses – a prison sentence almost ended her life – but her comeback inspired millions.

14 seasons long behind the music gave an intimate look into the personal lives of some of pop music’s biggest and most influential artists. Since moving to Paramount+, the series has taken a behind-the-scenes look at the lives of the likes of Bret Michaels, Busta Rhymes, Duran Duran, Fat Joe, Huey Lewis, LL Cool J, New Kids on the Block and Ricky Martin.

The series is produced by Bruce Gilmer, Jennifer Demme and Michael Maniaci for MTV Entertainment Studios. Mark Ford and Alex Castino are executive producers for Creature Films, along with Tara Long for Entertainment One.
