The first trailer for Netflix and Ubisoft’s Splinter Cell: Deadthwatch Anime Drops

Netflix dropped the official trailer for Splinter Cell: DeathwatchThe long-awaited anime adaptation of the popular series of Ubisoft stealth-action video games. The show is destined to hit the streaming platform this October and focuses on the iconic spy Sam Fisher, which is brought to life in the animation for the first time.

The series is a joint production between Ubisoft, Sun Creatures and Futters, with Derek Kolstad, the creator behind John Wick AND Nobodyacting as a key creative force.

For long -standing fans of the franchise, this is a big problem as the series of games, launched in 2002, has always concerned the suspense, precision and the thrill of operating in the shade. Now, that inheritance is taking on a new animated form.

In history, Sam Fisher is brought back to the world of espionage when a young wounded operator is helpful. That premise already looks like a classic chef of chip cell hook, balancing Fisher’s hardened experience with a new perspective that could open the door to new narrative corners.

Liev Schreiber lends his voice to Sam Fisher, while Kirby Howell-Baptist Voices Zinnia McKenna, the young operating at the center of history.

The new trailer is full of slick action sequences, hand -to -hand combat and, of course, those bright glasses of green night vision that are practically synonymous with franchise.

Seeing Fisher’s World life in anime form is exciting and is intended to preview on October 14th.
