Magician Arsenio Puro, who was a semi-finalist in the show “Incroyable Talent”, died of a heart attack on stage during a performance at the Houdini hall in Madrid. Two people who attended the show last Saturday tried to resurrect him but were unsuccessful.
The 46-year-old artist was a regular at the Houdini room, where he had worked for more than two decades. He collapsed onto the stage during the performance, but the audience continued to laugh, thinking he was part of the show. Two police officers in the room approached the magician and, seeing that he was not responding, tried to revive him. He was still pulsating and breathing. After they determined that he was in cardiac arrest, they gave him cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
The magician, who was taken to the hospital by ambulance, died a short time later.
“He fell on the floor. It’s such a hilarious sight that in the first few minutes people laughed, thinking it was just another joke. Everyone loved it, he was an artist who had performed thousands of times at the Houdini Hall… . We’ve been working together for more than 15 years, side by side behind the scenes, which is very unifying,” said his friend and colleague Jaque.
Arsenio decided to try his luck at the “Incredible Talent” competition in Spain, and received many criticism and praise for his performance, as well as being a semi-finalist. It was highly appreciated by four jury members, including Risto Mejide.
The announcement of this death came a few days after the death of Caribbean singer Mikaben, who died while performing on stage with his band at the Accor Hotel Arena in Paris. The 41-year-old artist had a heart attack while leaving the stage. Despite the intervention of the emergency services, he died an hour later, leaving the audience in shock!
