Here it all begins (TF1), already: Friday, April 15th episode recap…SPOILER

The fate of Théo and Célia, who spent long hours in the cold room, is revealed. Hortense, on the other hand, reveals his dark side.

Theo and Célia are in danger

Remorseful, Marta rushes to the Institute in the evening to open the door to the cold room. Later, she discovers that Théo and Célia are unconscious and is unable to wake them. She calls the emergency services and the couple is hospitalized. Teyssier, Constance and Charlène run to the young man’s bedside. They learn with relief that Théo and Célia will have no side effects. The parents of Double A’s president don’t understand how the cold room door is shut on them. Teyssier then wonders if someone hadn’t locked them up, pointing out that Marta was too late in the Institute’s kitchens. However, Charlène defends her friend and accuses her father of seeing evil everywhere.

To celebrate his 50th birthday, Stéphane Lanneau decides to cancel his traditional birthday bowling to take his family to lunch at Double A. A choice that surprised Lionel, who was worried about the budget for a meal like this. As Mehdi, Kelly and Tom enter their Easter workshop, they discover that all of their production has been destroyed on the ground. Hortense arrives and shows his surprise at such a move. But while Tom accuses him of being responsible for this disaster, Mahdi defends him. In class, Eliott and Greg attack Marta and accuse her of closing the cold room door on Théo and Célia. Desiring to work on a recipe, he denies and explains his presence on stage. The controversy escalates and Chief Guinot calms things down by threatening to fire the first person who speaks about this story.

Faced with Tom’s anger and Kelly’s suspicions, Hortense denies ruining the entire brigade’s business. However, she cannot convince her distraught comrades. Tom accuses the young woman of not supporting the fact that he is nonetheless excluded from the production of galaxy eggs, which is his idea. He asks Mehdi to open his eyes, but Mehdi gets angry and advises him not to accuse Hortense without evidence. He suggests his brigade get back to work to catch up. At Double A, Lionel is always worried about his family finances, especially since his father is not shy about ordering champagne and many a la carte meals.

Hortense and Marta unmasked

Théo and Célia eventually wake up in the hospital and wonder how they got there. In the hallway in front of her bedroom, Constance asks her husband about the cold room. She says the door is too heavy to close by itself. They decide to ask Charlène about Marta. They insist that Célia and Théo may die, and they ask her not to cover up her friend. Charlène reassures Marta that she would never risk their lives and that she knows nothing. Teyssier does not believe him and is annoyed by this and asks him to trick his best friend into finding out more.

In Double A, Lionel worries when he learns about the big bill his father has to pay. To reassure him, the latter tells him that he won 1,000 euros thanks to the scratch game. Relieved, Lionel reproaches him for not using the money to pay late bills. His father justifies himself by stating that he wants to spend a light moment with his family to enjoy the present moment. Learning that they were found by Marta, Theo and Célia realize that the young woman is behind it all. When Charlène wants to hug her brother, she pushes him violently and asks him to leave. He swears he was not involved, but Théo, backed by his father, sticks to his positions. In the institute’s locker room, Hortense offers to help Tom and Kelly rebuild their galaxy eggs. After the young woman leaves, he refuses and they decide to follow him to find evidence against him. Their tails take them to the vegetable garden. They see Hortense filming herself confessing to what she did to the chocolates and regrets it.

Charlène finds Marta in the kitchen and asks her about the cold room. His friend finally tells him the whole story, stating that he acted on a whim and never wanted them to die. She asks him not to tell anyone. Charlène later arrives at her father and Myriel’s office. She announces to them that Marta is very guilty and lets them listen to the recording of her conversation with her. But she also admits that she helped her friend piss off Celia. Myriel decides to summon Marta to a disciplinary committee, noting that she has little chance of remaining a student at the Institute. Out of danger, Charlène learns that she must appear before the disciplinary board for helping Marta harass Célia.
