"Maybe I should go" : Stéphane Plaza awakens his dark thoughts after the death of his mother

Stéphane Plaza, the guest of “50 Min Inside”, turned to Nikos after his mother disappeared.

When we talk about Stéphane Plaza, it’s hard not to think of the playful and illusory character we find in the “Search for a house or flat” and “House for sale” sections on the M6. But behind the clown/man with multiple hats hides a sensitive man who has recently gone through a tough ordeal with the death of his mother in June 2016.

During an interview with Nikos Aliağas on “50 Min Inside” on Saturday, July 16, the host and actor came back to this extremely painful loss. “It’s very complicated to see your mother again. Because this is the last show I’ve done. Losing your mother is hard, losing things is hard. It’s been a long time but I still have a lot of pain. But recently I learned to accept the pain”, he muttered. Stéphane Plaza said she had dark thoughts that were destabilizing and mixed with memories. “It’s complicated because I wanted to punish myself. I misunderstood why my mother left before me, and I said to myself: ‘Maybe I should go join my mother. […] Not good, dark thoughts, hard nights”he accepted.

Last January, Karine Le Marchand’s major accomplice had already disclosed to Nikos her depression following this disappearance. “I told myself that maybe I should leave to join my mother. I had dark thoughts, hard nights because I was so close to my mother and she knew everything about me.”said.
