Despite everything
Célia is waiting for Theo at the entrance of the institute. She reproaches him for her silence when she tried to reach him several times the day before. She tells him about her confrontation with Louis, who reveals his plans to quit to his father. She is angry with him for abandoning his sworn enemy. He defends himself by revealing that he has been manipulated and advises him to deny it. She explains that she tried but didn’t believe him. She tells him that Louis is trying to take his place in Double A.
Anaïs and Greg meet with Teyssier to ask him to agree to participate in the cake championship with other teams. But the chief flatly refuses, and even flattery doesn’t make him change his mind. Frustrated, they try to find a solution with Noémie. Greg offers to call his father, chef Delobel, who is hosting the contest at his hotel, thereby putting pressure on Teyssier.
But the girls think it’s a bad idea. Noémie suggests playing more delicately. He gets Antoine to sign an internship agreement that will ensure that Anaïs and Greg are under his authority during the competition and not cancel their plans. Teyssier discovers this clever technique and sees red.
conflict between sisters
Rose discovers an interview with Clotilde in which she talks about the master. Problem: His sister doesn’t quote him and he gets all the credit for this project. Antoine tries to calm her down by reminding her that her sister has a habit of pulling the blanket, while Antoine tries to calm her down, she decides to go and settle accounts with him in anger. Refusing to be walked on, Rose calls out to him in the hallway and accuses him of taking over his business. Clotilde speaks of an ego crisis. Rose insults him and attacks his ability to cook.
After this confrontation, Clotilde talks to Antoine about this and regrets that Rose was making a fuss for nothing. She is disappointed when she reveals that her sister is fighting for this master’s degree and is not seen as the heir to Auguste Armand unlike her. He accuses Clotilde of depriving him of the merits of good work. Antoine then gathers the students to announce the official creation of the master. Rose specifies the terms of the registration dossiers and the organization of the training. Her older sister surprisingly takes the floor to thank her for this master’s degree and her perseverance in overcoming her skepticism. She adds that their father will be proud of this project.
Theo is in distress
While working on his menu, Theo sees his father come in and attack him, saying that he will leave and it will ruin his life and the institute’s image of a girl. To calm him down, he reassures Louis that he is lying and intends to stay on Double A. Louis does not leave the matter on his side. He calls out to Constance and Emmanuel over coffee. She asks when she will resume her role at Double A and tells Constance about Theo and Celia’s plans. Emmanuel calms things down by saying he trusts his son, while Louis insists Theo will never win this award.
Having defended Theo against Louis, Emmanuel confesses to Constance that he feels his son is lying to him and wants to break up. He wants to mark his i’s but his wife wants him to think before he acts. Advice not followed. He rushes to Célia to offer him a deal to leave Theo alone, but she refuses. The argument escalates and insults Celia, forcing Celia’s grandfather to intervene. Theo becomes aware of this argument and attacks when he arrives to find his father in the kitchen. He accuses her of wanting to control everything and forbids him to insult Célia or see her behind her back. Annoyed, Teyssier tells him that he has taken him down and will let him replace Louis at Double A.
Louis discusses Theo’s possible breakup with Charlene and emphasizes that he will never fight for the prize. His girlfriend blames him for giving information to his father and trying to tear his family apart. However, he points to the fact that he is the only person who can win this award. After confronting his father, Theo chases after Louis into the garden. He finds her with Charlene and, losing his temper at her provocations, punches her before trying to strangle her.
