SPOILER ALERT: This article contains details about The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 4 finale.
In the season four finale, a mystery is solved that continues throughout the season The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
Since the opening episode of the fourth season of the Bravo reality series, a shocking twist was announced that would change the group’s dynamic forever.
It revolved around Heather Gay finding out something devastating about one of her co-stars and the truth about her black eye, and viewers finally got some clarity on the episode that aired on Tuesday, January 2.
Gay was caught on a hot mic talking to a mystery caller who told him important news. Producers tried to capture the moment she entered her bedroom in Bermuda, but Gay told her to leave.
Moments later, Gay arranged to meet the remaining members of the OG cast, including Lisa Barlow, Whitney Rose and Meredith Marks.
“We’ve come a long way as a foursome and Monica.” [Garcia] is not who she says she is,” Gay told the group. “She is not our friend. She is someone who plans and works to infiltrate our friend group. And the name as you all know it, the woman whose birthday we celebrated, who we tried to defend, support and defend, is Reality Von Tease.
Reality Von Tease appears to be an Instagram account that reveals many secrets to the world RHOSLC form. The account posted videos exposing Jen Shah, the housewife who was jailed for her involvement in a telemarketing scheme.
Gay said she knew Garcia through her hairstylist, Tenesha, who eventually revealed that Garcia had leaked information to Reality Von Tease. Gay reportedly became suspicious of Garcia during filming RHOSLC and the way she handled private information and disclosed sensitive details on camera. At one point on the show, Garcia even joked that she might run a social media account to reveal her fellow actresses’ secrets.
Garcia was eventually confronted by Gay and the rest of the cast at a dinner in Bermuda.
“You are an internet troll. You are a cyber tyrant. They’ve been tweeting, undermining and bullying us all for four years,” Gay told Garcia.
Garcia initially denied his involvement, saying: “This is nonsense. It was never my damn account.
When Gay insisted that Garcia was Reality Von Tease, Garcia admitted, “That’s not entirely true.” When her fellow housewives asked for clarification on “totally,” Garcia added, “That means it’s partially true.”
“Von Tease was never just one person,” Garcia said during a pre-show confessional. “It wasn’t just me. There were several other people involved, but at the end of the day our mission was to take Jen down, the others were just collateral damage.
Later, Gay told Garcia that her behavior was “strangely familiar” and told Shah, who allegedly gave her the infamous black eye from the previous season. Gay did not want to talk about her black eye and it remained a mystery until now.
“I ate every day [Shah]. I felt I had to lie to protect her,” Gay said of defending Shah. “I went on book tours and defended her and hated that she gave me a black eye.”
The RHOSLC The season four finale featured the series’ reunion and was credited with having the entire cast speak for the first time about the events in Bermuda. In the trailer for the episode “Reunion Part 1,” airing Tuesday, Jan. 9 at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo, Gay is asked how she got her black eye.

Shah’s Instagram account has been updated to defend the former RHOSLC Star of the allegations made against her on the show.
“Bravo, if I punched Heather in the eye, you would have the footage to prove it,” the statement read. “Obviously the show can’t live without me as I grew up at the beginning, middle and end of season four. Andy [Cohen] It still hurts my ass that I turned down his 1:1 interview. Why settle with someone who “gave” another artist a black eye? Next story.”
