Welcome 2024 with the New Year’s tradition of the Rose Parade, live from Pasadena, California. The Tournament of Roses takes place on Monday 1 January from 8:00 am. PT / 11:00 a.m. E.T.
The theme of this year’s parade is “Celebrating a World of Music: The Universal Language.”
“The 2024 theme brings us together through music. In a world of different cultures, beliefs, hopes and dreams, one language unites us all: music,” said Tournament of Roses 2024 Chairman Alex Aghajanian. “The sound, the texture, the rhythm, the form, the harmony and the expression merge, to move, calm, excite and delight the world.”
Aghajanian continued: “From bossa nova to blues, from classical to country, from metal to mariachi and from rock to rap, thousands of genres invite us to celebrate a world of music.” Whether near or far, young or old, we invite you to a year full of festivities, culminating in the Rose Parade on New Year’s Day. Let the music begin!”
ABC, KTLA 5, NBC, RFD TV, Great American Family, Cowboy Channel, Cowgirl Channel and Univision will broadcast the parade nationally.
Streaming partners for the Tournament of Roses include Fubo, Local Now, OTT Studio, Pluto TV, Sport TV and The Grio.
Audra McDonald has been named the 2024 Grand Marshal of the Pasadena Tournament of Roses.
