Meghan McCain says ‘The View’ is a ‘manufactured show’ and calls co-hosts ‘crazy old people’

Meghan McCain gives her opinion The view and doesn’t mince words about the show and its former co-hosts.

A new interview with the political commentator has surfaced, apparently recorded the day Ana Navarro referred to past co-hosts using their last names, like Hunter Biden, to gain relevance. Although Navarro did not specifically mention McCain, the former ABC talk show co-host believed she had been approached.

“Not a week goes by without something being said about me on the show,” McCain said on the Dec. 27 episode of the show Welcome to Michael Malice Podcast. “The thing about it The view is that when I signed my contract with ABC, I didn’t know it was forever. That I will be bullied, insulted, abused and educated for years for the rest of my life. I haven’t been to this show in years. I’m just trying to live my life.”

She continued: “I just didn’t know when I signed up for this show that I was going to have to deal with these crazy old people constantly yelling at me. “I go through whole periods without thinking about it, like a whole Months without thinking about the show or anything. And apparently I’m on her mind every day. And that’s sad.”

McCain said the reason she eventually left the show was the realization that producers just wanted “someone who will agree with them and say, ‘All Republicans are bad and conservatives are ruining the country.’

Podcast host Malice then offered a theory The view is an “evil show” aimed at repealing the 19th amendment, something McCain disagreed with.

“No, I do not think so. I honestly don’t think they work that smart there. It’s a very disorganized place backstage. It’s very chaotic and I think it gives the people who work there a lot of credit that they shouldn’t have. I would say it’s kind of a revamped show,” she said. “In the evening, all hosts receive hot topics to choose from. Get sent news articles you want to talk about the next day. Whatever the majority chooses is the theme of the show.”

McCain continued: “Anything that makes the Democrats look bad will never get elected.” I had to go in every morning and say, “Hey, whatever news story makes Biden look bad is the most important news story of the day,” and there was an argument about whether to air it or not because the anchors disagreed . And it was a struggle every day. And there were some news stories that they just didn’t publish because it made people look bad. It’s under ABC News and I don’t think it’s entirely ethical.”

In a recent episode of her podcast Meghan McCain entered the chatResponding to the Nicaraguan’s comments, she accused Navarro of “trading on McCain’s name and legacy.” The view.

McCain leaves The view in 2021 after four seasons and has since had several publications: her memoirs Bad Republicanher Daily Mail column and her podcast – where she talked about her experiences on the ABC talk show.
