Axel’s investigation

Arriving for breakfast, Charlène sees her mother’s message to confirm Landiras the Cook’s meeting at 1:00 pm. He pretends nothing happened and insists on going on a shopping spree between mother and daughter for lunch when Constance offers to end the argument the day before. Her mother refuses, on the pretext of an interview at her chosen school. Despite her daughter’s pleas, she assures him that she cannot delay him. As Constance was leaving, Louis arrived. Seeing Charlene’s face, she realizes that she has learned new things. His fiancee tells him what just happened. He advises his father to tell everything, but he refuses. She then suggests that Teyssier arrange for this meeting to find out for himself.

Axel interrupts Greg and Lionel, who are playing in the garden. He asks them about Maxime, claiming to have heard his name from the teachers. She is surprised that she has never met him. Lionel and Greg tell him that he is leaving for an important professional opportunity, which is bluffing the young man. They continue by praising Maxime’s virtues and reminding her of her relationship with Salomé, who was divorced from Louis. Axel is stunned to learn that his old date is married to Chief Guinot. Faced with all his questions, Greg asks if he wants to know more about Maxime or Salomé. Axel prefers to run.

After a very romantic night in the salt marshes, Célia is on the ninth cloud. She shows the photos to Amber, who is very enthusiastic. He even tells her he’ll be prepared to pay for it, and offers to join forces to launch an unusual night in the salt marshes. Théo warns them that they are a little too carried away. Charlene puts her plan into action during her father’s master class. She pretends to have a stomachache so she can take her to the infirmary. They wait in vain for Constance, which annoys Emmanuel, who is trying to reach him. Charlene then tells her about the date at school and suggests that she call her there. However, Teyssier hangs up and says that the director is on vacation and no interviews have been made. That’s why he wonders where Constance is.

Salome’s Choice

In the kitchen, Axel takes advantage of the thread to ask Anaïs and Salomé about their love life. He tells him about a “dresser man” and tells him to think about what Louis said to him the day before. He says he’s intrigued by what he said about Maxime and adds that their relationship seems strong. He then asks whether Salomé invited him to the prom because he loved her or if he wanted to forget about Maxime. To Anaïs’ surprise, Salomé later announces to her that it’s just a distraction for her, which disappoints her as she thinks there is more between them. Constance finds Zacharie in the salt marshes. He is waiting for him with his horses to take a stroll on the beach. If She finds the activity too romantic, she lets herself be seduced. In the end, she apologizes for sending him conflicting signals and says nothing will happen between them because she wants to fight for her relationship against all odds. They say they don’t want to stop seeing each other. Landiras asks her to continue dating her friends and promises him that she won’t try anything. Despite everything, she says she hopes she will take the first step.

In the kitchen, Theo tells Enzo that he caught a cold while spending the night under the stars. He tells her about the concept that Célia was dreaming up and which made them laugh a lot. But he surprises them and leaves in anger. Theo takes him aside at the end of the service and assures him that he is making fun of his upcoming job and not his nights. His explanations are clumsy and Célia gets angry. While returning to the salt marshes with Amber, he discovers with delight a surprise Theo has prepared. She prepared a picnic for him for a romantic evening on a boat. Anaïs questions Salomé about her words to Axel. He blames her for lying to hurt her and advises her to confess her feelings because nothing is final even if she is with Jasmine. Salomé finds Axel and Jasmine in the library and gets angry when she hears them laughing. She asks them to stop the noise before she approaches Louis, who is mocking him for how Teyssier feels about his nephew.

Constance finally comes home worried about Charlene. His daughter is acting like she just has cramps. When Teyssier asks him where he is, his wife blatantly lies to him, claiming that he met with the director before leaving to shower. Teyssier drags Charlène into the garden. She accuses him of making a fool of himself and using the pain as an excuse to let him know that Constance is not in the infirmary. She asks him what he knows and he agrees that his mother has a date with Zacharie. He announces to his daughter that he trusts her to help him find evidence of Constance’s infidelity.
