Kozarec played a key role in expanding Fortress’ impressive roster, including Academy Award winner Howard Shore (lord of the rings), Gustavo Santaolalla (Brokeback Mountain), Mychael Danna (The life of Pi) and Rachel Portman (Chocolate) and Oscar nominee Nicholas Britell (Moonlight), Daniel Pemberton (Spiderman: Into the Spider-Verse), Philip Glass (Doors), Alberto Iglesias (Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy), Clint Mansell (The fountain) and Owen Pallett (His).
The company’s clients currently have 11 Emmy nominations for shows such as Sequel, The Last of Us, Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, Andor, Ms. Marvel, a Little Light And Daisy Jones and the Six.
Fortress also represents music supervisors Liza Richardson, Maggie Phillips, Frankie Pine, Michael Hill, Wende Crowley and Amani K. Smith.
Robert Messinger, Rich Jacobellis and Randy Gerston, founders of Fortress, praised Kozarec’s rise.
“We are pleased to recognize Jake’s significant contribution to Fortress and its continued success. He shares the same values as us – hard work for our clients, good taste and judgment, and integrity – and was a perfect fit for us from the moment he joined the company. We are very excited to see what the future holds.”
