The third GOP primary debate of the 2024 presidential election season will take place on Wednesday, November 8 at 8:00 pm ET/5:00 pm PT in Miami. It will be broadcast live on NBC, in Spanish on Universo and live on Peacock via NBC News Now. It will later be available on demand on Peacock.
The debate, moderated by NBC Nightly News Moderator Lester Holt, Meet the press Moderator Kristen Welker and The Hugh Hewitt Show Host Hugh Hewitt will also stream real-time Spanish audio translations on NoticiasTelemundo.com, social media accounts and the Noticias Telemundo app.
The debate will also be available on Sky News services worldwide, including Sky News in English, Sky TG24 and through Middle East partners. It will also be available as audio via TuneIn.
The debate will resume at 12:00 p.m. ET/9:00 p.m. PT on Telemundo and is available on demand on Peacock.
After nominating eight Republican candidates for the first debate in August and seven for the second debate in late September, the Republican National Committee narrowed the field to five tonight at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County : Former Gov. of New Jersey Chris Christie, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley, Vivek Ramaswamy and Senator Tim Scott (R-DC).
All met voting and donation thresholds set by the RNC and signed a pledge to support any candidate who becomes the party’s nominee. As in the past two debates, the requirement keeps the Republican Party’s front-runner, former President Donald Trump, off the stage — even though he has said he has no plans to attend either debate.
Instead, Trump, who is accused of 91 felonies in four criminal cases, plans to address the debate again with a rally to be held less than 30 minutes northwest of Miami in Hialeah, Florida.
