Kevin Hart and Chris Rock went on a stand-up tour together last year.
The duo played five shows – Rock Hart: Only headliners are allowed – last July in New York and New Jersey.
Netflix is now airing a documentary that follows the couple on this tour. The document – Kevin Hart and Chris Rock: headliners only will air on December 12.
The documentary filmmaker goes behind the scenes of the tour and follows the couple as they give a first-hand account of their early life, struggles, triumphs and brotherhood. It is led by Discover hip hop Director Rashidi Harper.
Hart, Bryan Smiley and Luke Kelly-Clyne will produce for Hartbeat, Rock for CR Enterprises and Malcolm Spellman, Oby M. Okoye and Rashidi Harper for The 51B.
Thai Randolph, Jeff Clanagan, Mike Stein, Dave Becky and Kevin Healey will serve as executive producers, with JC Del Barco and Ty Walker serving as co-executive producers.
Hart said last year: “When Chris and I realized we were both going on tour this year, we immediately knew we had to do something special. We’ve been friends and mentors to each other for twenty years, but we’ve never been on stage together until now. I can’t think of a better way to celebrate the return of live comedy than to put on a show with my brother Chris Rock. This is an important moment in comedy and one for the history books.”
