LOKI Director Teases Kang’s Future in the MCU Saying We Haven’t Seen “The Ultimate Kang” Yet

The next two phases of the Marvel Cinematic Universe are setting up the big bad of Kang the Conqueror and leading up to the epic event film Avengers: The Kang Dynasty. The studio has invested a lot in this evil character and, according to Loki, he is the director Dan DeLeeuw, we still haven’t seen what he considers the “definitive” version of Kang. During an interview with ScreenRant, he said:

“I love all the Kangs, I think Kang is a fantastic character. I don’t know if we’ve seen the definitive Kang yet, in terms of how I imagine the definitive Kang [to be]. I think there is still someone who has yet to come out of the shadows.”

Yes, I think it’s obvious. Marvel won’t show the final Kang yet, they’ll save him for a special occasion in the MCU. This is the version of Kang that will be set Avengers: The Kang Dynasty in movement. The big question is… who will play the character in the future!?

Jonathan Majors he played the character up to this point, and appeared in the second season of Loki as Victor Timely, who is Kang’s traveling showman variant. But, with Majors currently in trouble over abuse allegations and a trial looming, it’s hard to believe that Marvel and Disney will keep him on board. I mean, Disney has abandoned other talent for much less.

Marvel Studios and Disney have yet to address the situation, so we’ll just have to wait and see what happens. Majors is a great actor and his version of Kang was the most popular Marvel villain among test audiences. Marvel is definitely in a tough spot and fans are waiting to see how they will handle it.
