Roku Greenlights Second Seasons of ‘Reptile Royalty,’ ‘UFO Cowboys’ and ‘Lincoln Log Masters’

EXCLUSIVE: Roku has given the green light for the second season Reptilian royalty, UFO cowboys And Lincoln Logmasters.

Just days after signing an unwritten distribution deal with Season Five, the AVoD giant has revived its shows focusing on zoos, UFO watchers and tree genealogy.

Reptilian royalty follows social media star Jay Brewer and his team as they, along with his daughters and intrepid animal lovers, run the California Zoo and care for more than 600 of the world’s rarest exotic reptiles.

UFO cowboys follows the Cowboy Sky Watchers, a group of ranchers who investigate alien encounters and paranormal activity throughout the American West – an area with more paranormal sightings than anywhere else in the United States

Based on Hasbro’s iconic children’s toys Lincoln Logmasters follow Cody, Wilson and the Knaughty Log Crew – the only log home builder with the Lincoln Log seal of approval – as they design, build, tear down and rebuild epic log homes and structures across Oregon.

Brian Tannenbaum, head of originals at Roku Media, said each reboot will “build on a strong foundation from the first season and bring more to our audience.”

Tannenbaum is at Mipcom Cannes this week with David Eilenberg, Roku’s chief content officer, who spoke at confab’s Fast Summit and was just named head of the Brand Studios segment.
