"I don’t believe a word you say" : Lucas Hernandez knocked out by Bayern Munich legend after joining PSG

Lucas Hernandez, who officially signed up for PSG on Sunday, July 9, said goodbye to Bayern Munich on Instagram. A bad message for Mehmet Scholl, the legend of the German club, who responded harshly to the French…

A wrong transfer. On Monday (July 9th), Paris Saint-Germain formalized the arrival of Lucas Hernandez from Bayern Munich. The capital club paid around 40 million euros to secure the services of the French defender, who signed a five-year contract with PSG. The 27-year-old world champion thus becomes the fifth player to come from Paris since the start of the transfer window, as the team currently coached by Luis Enrique are Serbian Milan Skriniar, Spain’s Marco Asensio, Uruguayan Manuel Ugarte and South Korean Kang-In Lee.

Thus, Lucas Hernandez left Bayern Munich four years after his arrival in Bavaria, where, among other things, he won four German titles and a Champions League. The French wanted to thank the German club and their fans on Instagram: “I regret to announce that I am leaving the club today. After careful consideration, I decided to take on new challenges. I want to thank you for your unwavering support during my stay here. The moments shared, the trophies won, especially the Champions League that I have always dreamed of, will be etched in my memory forever. I would like to sincerely thank my teammates, the coaching team, the entire club team, as well as the managers and coaches of Bayern Munich for their trust and unconditional support at all times. This club has grown me as a player and as a person. I am proud to wear the jersey of one of the most prestigious clubs in the world. Finally, I ask you to respect my decision, even though goodbyes are always difficult.

This message was far from being accepted by some Bayern Munich fans, especially in the person of Mehmet Scholl. The former offensive midfielder, a true legend of the Bavarian club he played with from 1992 to 2007, personally responded to Lucas Hernandez under his Instagram post:I don’t believe a word you say, byeFar from convincing the French to say their goodbyes, he set off with a smiley face that gave kisses.
