Salomé and Anaïs try to de-stress before presenting the master’s project to the jury. They’re even more worried because one of the jurors is a prominent businessman. Livio is confident.

Chief Delobel admits he went too far when he learned that his son wanted a joint marriage with his friends. He announces to them that he will no longer oppose the idea if it really makes them happy. Greg and Eliott state that they are ready because they want to share this moment with their friends. They assign him tasks: Eliott and Hortense for the music and decoration, Greg and Mahdi for the menu.

Enzo’s family says they have agreed with Teyssier to leave the kitchen for a few months as the stoves are not suitable for him. He’s frustrated and fed up with his chair.

Hortense proposes to Eliott to come to the wedding on horseback or in a hot air balloon, but the latter refuses for financial reasons. He wants a vintage car even if he doesn’t find it original.

The future of graduate students is decided

Louis returns to his mother happy that he owns the restaurant whose ideas he fell in love with. While talking about her future defense, Charlène warns her that she will be impartial in the jury. She also tells that she was afraid of the reaction of her father, who did not like her project. Claire reassures Teyssier by claiming that she’s been tough on him to push his limits.

Mehdi announces to Teyssier that he will marry Hortense at the same time as Greg and Eliott. He asks her to be a witness. The director laughs at him and his lack of friends. But the groom-to-be explains that when he’s sick, he’ll never be able to survive without Hortense and Emmanuel. Hence his request. Teyssier finally agrees.

Enzo cradles his chair into the institute’s central median. Vic wants to help him, but they get him together. He apologizes for forcing himself to present himself as a jury member on the train. He says he is not responsible for his condition. She recommends giving her chair a name and personalizing it. She admits to him that she hesitates to present her master because she can no longer cook.

Greg and Mehdi present their menu to chef Delobel. But that ending hints at Lionel’s food offering alongside the buffet idea. He reminds them that they are the chefs at the institute and encourages them to serve the table. He also insists that the galley brigade be larger. Mehdi offers Jude her name, which surprises the chief as she is Eliott’s ex. But Greg approves. His father announces that he wants to take part in the creation of the new menu.

During her presentation, Charlène is not spared by her father Louis and the businessman. However, he defends his project by emphasizing the importance of kitchen design. Enzo comes to give his presentation and explains that he wants to build a bridge between gastronomy and street food for those who have never been to such restaurants.

Great bickering between Eliott and Hortense

Mehdi announces to Hortense and Eliott that his witness will be Teyssier. The chef uses the opportunity to discuss changes in the menu imposed by Delobel. Hortense worries she’s making the wedding a very stuffy affair.

Jude congratulates Eliott on his marriage and explains to him that he is part of the brigade. Eliott says he’s relieved to have Chef Delobel on the menu. Jude reminds her that it’s also her wedding and she needs to think about what she wants. Eliott admits he’s torn between Hortense’s craziness and the very traditional side of Greg and his father.

Hortense talks about decorating tables with Vic and Deva. There is an animal carnival theme idea. But he fears Eliott will reject him as he hasn’t been the same since Japan. She thinks she forgot herself in front of Greg and her father.

Rose announces the results of the first year of her master’s degree. Enzo is a favorite of the judges, while Charlène, Salomé and Anaïs receive honorable mentions for their presentations. He wins the congratulations of the jury and the businessman, who is ready to judge them, leaves his card to him if he is looking for an investor. Enzo is congratulated by Clotilde. Hortense shows Greg and Eliott a swan statue and tells them about the theme idea. The first refuses to have such a kitsch decoration.
