Here it all begins: Vic and Hortense ambush their mother… recap before June 8 (SPOILER)

Mehdi trusts Eliott to open Hortense’s eyes to her mother. Axel and Jasmine cannot solve their problems. And they may soon find themselves in the middle of an incredible love triangle.

Teyssier warns Eliott that he will not receive preferential treatment at the end-of-year exams. When she hears the young man talking to Hortense about her revisions, she questions him about Eugénie, arousing her suspicions. Eliott does not hide that he finds it difficult to imagine her committing such an act.

Axel slept on the couch in his salt marsh roommate. When Amber wakes up, she tells her that she talked to Jasmine and reassures her that everything will be settled after the exams. Axel admits to her that she feels less mature than Jasmine on many levels (especially with Naël), which poses a problem.

Vic and Mehdi question Eliott about Eugenie’s behavior with Hortense. He explains that he didn’t see anything unusual. Vic thinks his mother has stopped as Hortense will be returning to Bordeaux. They insist that Eliott talk to Hortense.

Solal was cropped by Rose after declaring her love

Solal reveals to David and Lionel that they have declared their love for Rose. The latter also sends him a message asking to see him.

Eliott is in the kitchen with Hortense about to ask him about his mother. But he interrupts them. When Eliott raises the possibility of Hortense changing her mind and eventually staying as a teacher, Eugenie grimaces and insists it’s not a good idea for her. He reassures her that he won’t always be behind her in Bordeaux. After she leaves, Eliott tells Hortense that her mother’s reaction was strange. He insists on getting things done.

Rose explains to Solal that she was impressed by the declaration of love. She blames him for going too far and reminds her that she might be her mother and that she is also the director of the graduate degree at the institute. She confirms to him that they will no longer be working together. But his will is quickly thwarted by Teyssier, who forces him to come with Solal to a meeting with Clotilde over the book.

Amber advises Jasmine to talk to Axel and sort things out between them.

Livio meets Eugénie in the hallways and asks Teyssier to intervene to defend her. He swears he won’t be responsible for Hortense and fears he’ll never get a job again after this story. Eugenie nevertheless refuses.

Clotilde is enthusiastic, while Teyssier finds the new version of the book better. Teyssier asks Rose to paint a portrait of Olivia Listrac for the book. Rose agrees, but states that she will deal with it alone, using the upcoming exams as an excuse not to cooperate with Solal anymore.

Vic goes to the infirmary with his mother for his migraine. They discover the broken medicine cabinet and the disappearance of a powerful pain reliever.

Axel admits that he doesn’t like being cold to Jasmine, but that he can’t be there any longer right now. Their discussion is interrupted by Naël, who wants his mother’s attention, and Axel, who must go to class.

Eugenie is trapped by her own daughters to discover the truth.

Eugénie tells Vic, Hortense, and Eliott that they warned Teyssier about the theft. Eliott remembers seeing Livio come out of the infirmary. Eugenie then reflects on her argument with him and her helpless gaze. Feeling tired, Hortense goes to lie down.

Rose and Antoine take a break from their day to meet up. Whenever he gets the chance, he tells her about Solal’s statement. Antoine hopes that the young man will calm down.

Axel walks into the wrong room for his class and runs into Ambre and Deva at the Workshop. He explains that he couldn’t talk to Jasmine because of Naël. Deva notices that Amber is looking at her and realizes that her friend is in love with Axel. Amber notices this and explains that once she managed to put her feelings aside. She swears she won’t try anything.

Eugénie finds Hortense in her bedroom in tears. His daughter explains to him that Livio was in the hospital after a desperate gesture with painkillers. She feels responsible and thinks she won’t wake up, she. His mother tries to calm him down and finally tells him that he is the real culprit. Vic then emerges from the shadows where he was hiding to film the whole thing.

Falling into their daughter’s trap, Eugénie confesses to poisoning Hortense and falsifying her exam results, especially her potassium level. She tries to explain herself but Hortense fires her.
