Extended families: Life in XXL (TF1): “I love her as much as I hate her”, Camille Santoro talks about her sometimes complicated relationship with her body

Camille Santoro has always been pretty transparent with her thousands of fans on Instagram. He entrusts them with almost everything: his worries, his health problems, his hard work and therefore time-consuming work, as well as his relationship with Nicolas. This time, the mother talked about her relationship with her body, which was sometimes difficult.

At the end of last year, Camille shared the secrets of an operation in the past and still considering today. At the request of her subscribers, she finally started to say more, although it wasn’t originally planned. “Actually, I don’t dwell too much on it. It’s something I don’t like to talk about, but that’s how you get it. I get messages saying ‘Camille, you can’t bear to touch your hair.'”. And do you know? I agree with you. It’s unbearable but I find it hard to do otherwise”, he said last November. He then elaborated: “When I was 11, I had surgery for a tumor on my head and I have a scar. It’s so traumatic for an 11-year-old girl to have surgery, have her hair shaved, come out again. It’s not really. It’s an easy step and it’s something that makes me very complicated.”.

“I have a pretty special relationship with my body”

On Monday, May 22nd, Camille decided to discuss another matter related to her body in general. She had already done this last year to respond to comments from some people who congratulated her on being pregnant with her seventh child, even though she wasn’t pregnant. At that time, she took to her Instagram account to declare: “I’m not pregnant. I would rather […] Yes, my body has changed and many of you are congratulating me on the seventh day. These descriptions are always misleading because they may not resonate with the person concerned, depending on their story. Minor health issues, treatments made my scales look ten pounds too high. God, who gave me six wonderful children, I intend to let my body get rid of all this.”.

He brought up the issue again on Monday, voicing his sometimes conflicting relationship with his body. The mother of six had decided, nearly five years ago, to review and look back at her evolution since her inception in the United States. Large families: life in the XXL. “In the first place, I didn’t do it first[ais] not specific topics, but still, the closer I got to them, the more relaxed I got”began by noting Camille. He continued: “I’m not hiding from you that I have a very special relationship with my body. I think I love it as much as I hate it. It has given me many, many moments of joy, happiness, and happiness. [je lui] I am very grateful”. And because there is always a ‘but’, Nicolas Santoro’s wife concluded by acknowledging that her body “also brought him a lot of pain, sadness and, of course, anger”, hence the volatile relationship. A conversation that can help comfort mothers who follow her.
