Numerous testimonies brought to the file and during the trial confirmed these abuses. But many people, for their part, think the motive is financial. With the disappearance of their parents, the two defendants inherited an inheritance estimated at more than $14 million. It’s a huge sum that they will benefit greatly from before their arrest a few months after the tragedy.
