During a panel at German Comic-Con, the actor explained: “It will definitely be bittersweet. I think everyone is excited to start working again, but it will also be like the first time of many of the last things. . It will be very bittersweet.”

The show is set in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana in the 1980s and follows a group of friends as they investigate supernatural events and government conspiracies while plunging the small Midwestern town into an apocalyptic nightmare. The series has been praised for its strong cast, compelling storylines, and nostalgic references to 1980s pop culture.

Stranger things 5 it will be the last time Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Want (Noah SchnappDustin (Gaten Matrazzo), Luca (Caleb McLaughlin), Maximum (Sadie Sink), and the rest of the Hawkins gang are all together for one last battle against the evil Vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower).

In previously describing Stranger Things 5, the writing team described the next chapter of the story “it’s like seasons 1 and 4 have a baby. And then that kid was injected with steroids.”

While we don’t know much about what the story will involve, we do know that Will will be the “main focus” of season five, as the final episodes “return to season one.” Matt Duffer previously said, “We’re starting to see his coming of age, really, which has been difficult for a variety of reasons; some of which are supernatural. But you’re starting to see him come of age.”

Ross Duffer He added, “I think you’ll see that with a couple of character arcs, not just with Will. But also with Steve and Nancy, and his relationship with Jonathan, where things aren’t fully resolved. The characters have perhaps taken steps , as was the case with Will, but that journey isn’t over yet, and that’s going to play a huge part as we try to wrap this thing up next season.

Noah Schnapp he also said: “I can only tell you that I am very very excited for what is to come. I think they have done a great job with the character of Will this season, and they have dealt with everything beautifully that they needed to. The way they have closed the show is just perfect: the story began with Will and will end with Will.”

Now, just because Stranger Things is ending doesn’t mean the franchise is ending. Netflix has ordered an animated spin-off series and the Duffers tease that “there are still many more exciting stories to tell in the world of Stranger Things; new mysteries, new adventures, unexpected new heroes.”

Stranger things 5 is expected to premiere in 2024 on Netflix.
