If you remember, we were talking to you about the new rule of production last January. 12 strokes at noon It’s about how it’s now possible to nominate a celebrity’s name to win the mystery star showcase. Disgusted by this production decision, viewers rushed to Twitter to admit their frustrations and, as usual, yell at cheating. As a reminder, in the past it was possible for the midday master to suggest the name of a star at the end of each broadcast.
“It’s turning into a sadistic show”
However, over the course of several months, five of the five correct answers must be correct in the posttest for the midday master to have the possibility to first acquire a mastery, that is, to suggest a name. This new rule caused a lot of trouble to the current noon mistress, Céline, who spent several days without finally succeeding in earning her noon star. On Twitter, during the implementation of this new rule, we could read: “Another rule that will allow the production to cheat more by putting in easy or hard questions as desired according to the topic and the candidates, all this to inflate the tension as well as the ratings”, “A new rule soon to be able to star bid: know how to do a foursome backflip. Everything. If you don’t want to pay any more winnings and gifts, say so, it will go faster” or “The goal the new rule is looking for is to finish the show 2 or 3 minutes earlier. This leaves an even longer ad space. Money money money”.
Aware of many criticisms of the new rule, Jean-Luc Reichmann made an announcement under one of his Instagram posts. The presenter wrote first in the title of her video: “After a rough week discovering The Mysterious Star, Céline collapses into tears mid-shoot”. It was enough for the bored internet users to comment on the broadcast and decide to react himself. One user commented: “It turns into a sadistic show, at some point you have to admit you were wrong and go back to the old rule.”. And, to everyone’s surprise, Jean-Luc answers him: “Hi! I’m in the middle of a discussion with the production team about this…”.
