(France 2) remember the words: Louis was eliminated after 65 wins and over 350,000 Euros!

End the clap for Louis on “Don’t forget the promises.” The champion, who currently has 65 victories, was eliminated with a prize pool of 358,000 €. Upon elimination, Télé returns for 7 jours.

You finish in the top 10 as 8th, what was your aim when you entered the game?

It exceeds all my expectations, anything I can imagine. My goal, basically, was to just get the silver mic. I knew I was revising and it was a journey that might have gone further but it has become very difficult… There are a lot of people who revise too much and fail to do so just because the overall level has risen, so I didn’t necessarily do it, I want to immediately imagine much more so as not to be disappointed. If I have the slightest chance to sing ‘The same song’ to myself, I have to take advantage of it and show that I’m doing well.”

You have the bell record, is that a source of pride for you?

Even if it’s not something we’re aiming for. When I got to the moment when the record could be broken, I told myself it gave me another goal to achieve. I am a person who needs goals to move forward and stay focused. So yes, I’m proud to tell myself that I’ve put my name somewhere on the show.

You are very supported by your followers, especially on Twitter. Did you expect this?

At this point, honestly no. For years, I’ve been talking on networks, on Twitch, on Twitter… I’ve been texting saying I’m training, but I never really thought about getting this much excitement. Twitter is my most used medium among my various social networks, and I didn’t expect nearly all publishers I know, even some I didn’t know at first, to reply to me. There were 1.5 million tweets, tens of thousands of likes, retweets… Frankly, I was very surprised by this enthusiasm. Although we know that it is a difficult medium from time to time, I realized that I have never received any bad messages on Twitter.

Isn’t it very difficult to keep your participation private for so long?

It was hell. It’s not necessarily easy not to tell our loved ones, but we tell ourselves that if we make a mistake, it won’t have any effect, it won’t show up, and it won’t have any consequences. It can spread very quickly in my job where I broadcast live every day, although not in front of hundreds of thousands of people. It was a daily stress so I had to cut back on my streaming time so I wouldn’t miss out.

How did you experience elimination? What did you miss?

This is a story of circumstances. So I don’t regret it because I tell myself that I lost to someone who deserved it and maybe even stronger than me. It’s nice to leave your mic to someone who has worked hard, looks very powerful. Then, it was a bit of the show that I didn’t win, in terms of points and the chances you had to have on themes, this was a show that was unwinnable if you landed in front of a really strong person… I dropped 30 points on Nolwenn Leroy and this wasn’t the artist I was most comfortable with.

Do you have any regrets?

obviously? No regrets because I went far beyond what I could have imagined. Now, we always want to do more, and while there are of course no regrets, there are ‘ifs’ in mind. However, I’m very happy to lose to someone like Charlotte, who I think should watch.
