EXCLUSIVE: Peacock commissioned a reality format in which fluid couples and singles explore their sexuality on an island the producer of Hulu documentaries Planetary sex with Cara Delevingne.
Fremantle-backed UK producer Naked is behind the as-yet-untitled show, which has had working titles among other things My tropical romance.
In the show, which is still in its infancy and is filmed in the US, couples and singles go to a tropical island to explore their relationships.
The program seeks couples and singles who are adventurous and open-minded, with a fluid approach to dating and an interest in exploring non-monogamous relationships.
Naked is produced by James Lessell, Matt Cox, Tom O’Brien and Simon Andreae.
Naked produced Hulu/BBC Three Planetary sex with Cara Delvingne in which the hostess – a model, actress and LGBTQ+ advocate – explores modern sexuality in a variety of settings, attends masturbation seminars, visits a pornographic library and undergoes a blood test during orgasm. Naked also produces formats including The Apprentice UK and that of Netflix snowflake mountain.
Peacock’s format, which will go into production later this year, represents the NBCUniversal streamer’s latest entertainment bet. Other Peacock reality shows including hosted by Alan Cumming the traitors, Paris Hilton in love with paris Competition Bowl And Real Housewives turnoff The Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Strip.
