A first evening with strong feelings already. This Thursday, February 16, launches the M6 17pearl Beijing Express’ “secret election” season. Eight couples embarked on this adventure that began on the shores of Lake Titicaca in Bolivia.
In the first part of the stage, Chirine and Alexandre managed to gain a small advantage over their opponents very early on. During the first event, the couple became the second couple to succeed in the challenge suggested by Stéphane Rottenberg and were therefore able to continue very quickly for the rest of the race. The two lovers held second place until they arrived at the place of the second challenge. To continue the race, the candidates had no choice but to use ziplines and took them over Lake Titicaca at more than 140 km/h. Determined to keep the couple in second place in the standings, Chirine is highly motivated. This is hardly true for Alexandre, who completely and simply refuses to accept the challenge because of his fear of heights.
Faced with her friend’s refusal to overcome her phobia, Chirine bursts into tears and cannot control her anger. “You make me angry ! I did all this to surpass ourselves. But you are like this even in daily life, it’s not just your phobias that keep you from life! You just don’t want to do it. i would do it for you“He tells his friend. Unfortunately, Alexandre will not be able to overcome his fear. Therefore, the couple will finish this stage in last place and will not be able to try to win immunity.
