Just four days after the 25th anniversary of the Dawson series, the series star FabelmansMichelle Williams was nominated for Best Actress for her role in Steven Spielberg’s film.
Michelle Williams’ former Dawson staff members were quick to pay her respects on Tuesday.
Her old friend Busy Philipps, who joined the series as Audrey in season 5, shared an old photo of her friend in an emotional post. “I’m going to go back in time and tell this kid that he’s going to get 5 Oscar nominations in the next 20 years. It’s a great family. And being surrounded by love. (And great clothes) I was probably telling him this time.”
Busy Phillips continued: “I love you MW. I’m proud of you for building the life and career you dreamed of even though you sometimes wonder if I can make it. But then you dig deep and try again. “One of my favorite things about you. You’ve NEVER stopped trying A new way, a new recipe, a new parenting style, a new writer, a new approach to work, a new love, a new role… but still the same loving, bright, kind, sensitive, funny, wild, thoughtful, beautiful, BEAUTIFUL, BEAUTIFUL”.

Joshua Jackson, who played Pacey Witter in all six seasons of the show, shared the same photo on his Instagram Story, captioning it:5 Oscar nominations! !! Holy Moses.”
Joshua Jackson, making fun of the moment in question, continued: “I don’t know, but I think we were all caught in a seedy puddle as kids. What a great trip you had. Congratulations!”
Michelle Williams has been nominated for four other Oscars. For the first time in 2006 for starring Brokeback Mountainthen for the roles Blue Valentine’s Day, My Week with Marilyn and Manchester by the Sea.
The other stars of the series, James Van Der Beek and Katie Holmes, have not spoken yet. The group last met five years ago for the cover of Entertainment Weekly, which celebrated the series’ 20th anniversary.
