Adam Scott continued boy meets world Check back on the Pod Meets World podcast on Sunday for a long-winded complaint.
Scott, a recurring character played by Griff Hawkins on the 1990s sitcom, told cast members Danielle Fishel, Rider Strong and Will Friedle about a moment on set that still haunts him.
The incident happened when filming for the season two finale was wrapping up. The episode was broadcast in 1995.
Scott says cheers erupted when the final scene ended. Scott claimed he went over to give Strong a high-five and a hug, but was rebuffed, with Strong hugging him and looking at him to indicate he didn’t recognize him.
Strong is then said to have run away.
“It’s literally been pulling me for 29 years,” Scott said.
Strong claimed he didn’t remember the moment and wondered, “Why would I do that?”
Laughter ended the moment. No indication if that response made Scott feel better.
