star MalcolmFrankie Muniz will be a full-time NASCAR racer.
The National Stock Car Racing Association, or NASCAR (National Stock Car Racing Association), is the primary governing body for stock car auto racing in the United States, where this discipline is most popular.
The actor, who plays the lead character in the hit sitcom, will compete in NASCAR’s ARCA Menards Series at Daytona International Speedway next month.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Frankie Muniz will drive the #30 Ford Mustang for Rette Jones Racing starting February 18.

“It’s been my dream to race in NASCAR since I was a kid, and it was important to me to offer all imaginable opportunities to grow mentally and physically while partnering with a team that aligns with my goals and long-term vision as a full-time race driver.”
Added : “I’m looking forward to not only showing my skills on the track and how serious I am about advancing my racing career, but also showing my son and family what it’s like to pursue careers, pursue dreams and reinvent themselves.”
Late last year, Frankie Muniz suggested that Malcolm co-star Bryan Cranston (who plays his father on the show) might write the reboot.
“I’d like to know what the family is up to. I know Bryan Cranston really cared and oversaw the screenwriting and everything.‘ said Frankie Muniz, now 37 years old.
“So something could happen. I’d be 100% ready. But I don’t know – we’ll see what happens.”
