How to Watch Monday’s College Football Playoff Championship Game on TV and Online

Undefeated and reigning national champion Georgia meets TCU in Monday’s College Football Playoff national championship game starting at 7:30 PM ET/4:30 PM PT at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif., home of the Los Angeles Rams and LA Chargers kick off last year’s Super Bowl.

The game will be broadcast live on ESPN, ESPN Deportes and ESPN Radio. These programs headline the network’s MegaCast coverage, with 12 cross-platform feeds covering various aspects of game time.

Georgia and TCU had two thrilling wins on New Year’s Eve, with the no. 1 Bulldogs who beat Ohio State 42-41 from behind in the Peach Bowl and the no. 4 Horned Frogs who beat Michigan 51-45 at the Fiesta Bowl. Both games were close, averaging 21 million viewers across ESPN platforms, marking the CFP’s best semifinal ratings in five years.

Georgia is the favorite with a 12-0 record. The Bulldogs defeated Alabama 33-18 in last year’s CFP title game and are aiming to become only the fourth school to win back-to-back championships since 1990.

ESPN’s networks had 40 of this year’s bowl games on ESPN, ESPN2 and ABC, including all six New Year’s Day bowl games. Prior to Monday’s game, the network’s leadoff team, consisting of Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit, Holly Rowe and Molly McGrath, will report from the booth.

Among Monday’s MegaCast specials:

ESPN2: The return of pass field, hosted by Pat McAfee, who will provide live commentary from the sidelines throughout the game. McAfee will be joined throughout the game by AJ Hawk, Darius Butler and “Boston” Connor Campbell, along with ESPN analysts, notable figures and celebrities.

ESPNU: command center will include a multi-angle presentation with player and team statistics. The four main streams are the main broadcast, aerial camera and cameras on each main coach.

ESPN News: The AT&T 5G SkyCast Foer emphasizes the action from above and behind the offense. (Available in 4K on Comcast, DirecTV, YouTube TV and Verizon.)

ESPN App: Game View sits high above the field to monitor all 22 players on the field at all times. In addition, all brass band performances will be shown live at the MegaCast this year.

Hometown Radio: Feeds will be available for each school, with the Georgia Bulldog Sports Network calling the SEC Network and ESPN app and TCU via the Horned Frogs Sports Network on the ESPN app.

The game will also be available in more than 160 countries on ESPN’s linear and digital platforms.
