And the people in these photos know how true that is – after snaps of their silly mistakes made the rounds on social media.
The images, collected in a gallery by Wacko Jaco, reveal a series of ridiculous moments made by people from all over the world that are now unfortunately on the internet forever.
One person thought a thermometer was a pregnancy test, while another apparently couldn’t open an umbrella in the rain.
Ignorant! One person, believed to be from the US, was quite confused when given a picture of a thermometer and asked: “Does that mean you’re pregnant or not?”
It’s not raining on his parade! This person didn’t seem too bothered by the rain – he decided to keep his umbrella closed and put it on his head instead
Awaiting Accident: This driver obviously didn’t think about it, because when his wheels would finally turn
Pretty obvious: This homeowner made it pretty easy to get into his house, using the house number 3944 and three digits that are clearly put to good use on the keyboard
Completely Unaware: Some people claimed online that this man, in an undisclosed location, was completely unaware his dog had fallen into the water. Or maybe your pet just likes to swim
No-Go Area: If the stop sign was not clear enough, apparently no driver is allowed to drive past this point
As a side note, this person probably didn’t think about the risk when they set up this situation
Too obvious: This ‘fake’ jacket made it too obvious with the words ‘The North Fake’ instead of ‘The North Face’.
Tread carefully! This person, from an unknown place, lived on the precipice with his dangerous feet on the ladder
Now who’s the crazy one! This person definitely didn’t have the last laugh after getting two-fingered shade after putting their fingers behind their friend’s head
Not quite the right gear: This person left some social media users unimpressed with her choice of headgear when working with tools
What happened here? This man does not seem to have thought this situation through as it is unclear how he will manage to get out of his vehicle
