A passenger on a United Airways flight flew into a rage after she yelled at her toddler to throw up, leading to a physical altercation with flight attendants.
The incident on a flight from San Francisco to Chicago began Sunday morning after the woman stood up as the plane began to land. She yelled at her toddler to throw up and was then told by the flight attendants to sit down.
The woman then pushed a flight attendant away and took her to a Chicago hospital. Another woman and a 3-year-old were also taken to hospitals for observation.
The passenger, addressed as Sarah, was removed by Chicago police after the plane landed at Chicago’s O’Hare Airport.
Police were alerted to reports of a “malfunction” on United Flight 476.

Chicago police said three people on the plane were taken to a local hospital — Resurrection Hospital — for observation, it said in a statement.
It is unclear what type of injuries the three people suffered, but United Airlines said there were no serious injuries.
The incident is currently under investigation by the Chicago Police Department and the FBI.
