These four hidden places in Portugal are ideal for exploring and snapping beautiful Instagram photos this summer

We are at the ideal time to plan a vacation. Many of us have little to escape for a few days, and any idea that comes to mind is good for exploring beautiful places. Therefore, today we propose to go to Portugal, but beyond the best known sitesenters the other gems of the neighboring country.

So we leave behind Lisbon, Madeira, Aveiro, Porto or the Algarve. This time we head to more idyllic places full of nature and charm, where we can explore other aspects of Portugal and, why not, get some of the most ideal Instagram photos.

Loriga Beach

We start with one of the most beautiful places in the Black Sea. Natural Park of the Sierra de la Estrella. This is the Loriga River Beach (owned by the municipality of the same name and known as) in the Loriga Glacier Valley. “Portuguese Switzerland”) and where we find some pure and crystalline waters emanating from a spring in the mountains.

Undoubtedly, it is a uniquely beautiful place with rugged relief, tranquility and a handful of activities that we find in a sheltered setting.

We have a real hidden wonder in the central part of Portugal, in Manhouce, São Pedro do Sul. Lagoa do Poco Negro. Its clear waters are fed by the Teixeira River, one of the wildest in the country, which we found after one of Portugal’s most beautiful waterfalls.

When we think of waterfalls and lagoons in Minho, Peneda-Gerês National Park is not the only thing that comes to mind. Just over 20 km from Viana do Castelo these Wonderful waterfalls and lagoons of Serra d’Arga.

Where Lake Esturranha is located In the neighborhood of Freixiedo de Soutelo, Just off the N305 road. It is a haven of tranquility with its turquoise waters, as well as a place where we can swim between deep and shallow areas and enjoy a summer without the sweltering heat. A magical corner of the Serra d’Arga.

Egua’s Joke

We end this jewelery selection with a charming little village: Chãs de Égua of the Piódão parish and share with him the mystical beauty of the world Serra do Achor. It’s a small town that has been isolated for years, with roots dating back to the Neolithic and Bronze Age.

They are characterized by a very rural mountain appearance with typical schist and slate houses surrounded by a n.almost pure nature, rich in fauna and flora species those who find their natural habitats here.
