Flying is an unfortunate necessity when it comes to long distances, as the need for organization, concerns about timing, and the cramped, limited space of an airplane dull the excitement of a vacation.
Passengers are known to often be unpleasant to others or simply inconsiderate of those around them.
However, it’s not just travelers who are annoyed by the antics of their co-pilots, as a flight attendant has revealed the three things passengers should not do on board flights.
An unnamed 33-year-old flight attendant posted on Reddit and created a thread to answer other users’ questions about work experience.

Answer to a question that reads: “If you could magically release a wand and stop passengers from doing three things on airplanes; What would it be?’ she replied with some surprising comments.
The first thing she would change is that passengers “stop taking off their shoes and walking around in socks or bare feet.”
When another user asked why it might be annoying to cabin crew, she replied: “Because it’s disgusting, smelly and you’re in public.” “Manners are a big problem.”
Second, the flight attendant felt that too many passengers would be happy to share their problems with a flight attendant, which she illustrated with a rather graphic example.
She said: “Don’t tell us too much information, like ‘Can I go to the toilet, I have diarrhoea’.”
She completed her wish list by touching on an issue that is important to many passengers when enduring a flight: privacy.
“For the love of all that is holy, use headphones. Nobody wants to hear your music or your movie,” said the flight attendant.
The crew member asked if it would be okay to use airline-provided slippers during a flight, even though they might cause slight foot odor. He said it would be allowed.

Jacqueline R. of Toronto explained several “don’ts” for potential passengers who want to stay on their flight attendant’s good side

It comes as another flight attendant, Jacqueline R., who works for Air Canada and has been a flight attendant for nearly seven years, said in a clip on TikTok what passengers should avoid if they don’t want to annoy crew members.
“Your flight attendants like it when you’re extremely respectful because we deal with a lot, just like you do,” she began. “We want to be so nice to you and we will do our best.”
The Toronto native went on to emphasize, “Your flight attendants hate it when you’re mean because we want to be nice.” So just be nice. Just smile and say, ‘Hey, how are you?’ We will do our best to treat you well.’
“Don’t come on board and demand things.” Just ask us nicely. And we will honestly do our best,” she said.
“Just remember that we, like you, are also human. And we want to make sure you have the best travel experience. So all we ask is that you be kind.
“Our biggest problem is that passengers are mean for no reason.”
