Hilarious moment a passer-by is caught in the middle of a rush hour at Alton Towers and steals the show as she tries to keep up

This is the hilarious moment a passer-by steals the show after unknowingly ending up in the middle of a flash group at Alton Towers and taking part.

The anonymous woman was spending a day at the Staffordshire theme park on Monday when she was inadvertently surrounded by the Alton Towers Scare Fest flashmobile.

But instead of quickly fleeing, the woman – considered a “legend” – danced along and enthusiastically tried to follow the group’s movements.

The thrill seeker wore a silver jacket that happened to match the lightning rod’s outfits, allowing her to blend in seamlessly, much to the amusement of onlookers.

The footage was posted on TikTok with the caption: “If you’re that lady caught in the middle of the flash mob but acting so cool, we know we salute you because I would have died.”

The video begins with electronic music as a group of people wearing silver clothes and face paint break out into dance.

Scare Fest characters include a woman dressed as a pirate, a woman dressed as a Georgian aristocrat, and a woman dressed as a rag doll.

The crowd can be heard gasping for joy as the group leans to the left, their bodies frozen and acting like they are puppets on a string.

The group separates to reveal the woman, conspicuous by her lack of costume, but laughs before launching into the choreography and walking with them.

The dancers then grin at each other when they notice the woman joining in.

They come back up and start bobbing up and down before turning completely in different directions in time with the music.

The music speeds up and the dancers sway and scatter to different sides of the woman, who somehow ended up in the middle of the routine.

But the further the dancers continue their impeccable choreography, the more the audience seems impressed by the anonymous woman who stole the show.

The video was shared on social media earlier this week by TikTok user @em.m.22 with the caption: “If anyone happens to see this and knows her, let them know she’s a legend.”

The post received more than 13,000 likes and dozens of comments from social media users.

One person wrote: “She was born for this moment.”

Another said: “She became the main character.”

“She’s got it. I’m joining the group now,” a third commented.

Another added: “The fact that her jacket actually fits.”

A fifth joked: “Now the children are dying of shame.”

A spokesperson for Alton Towers said today: “At Alton Towers Resort, we are committed to creating world-class experiences for our guests.”

“Our award-winning Scarefest event offers plenty of live entertainment and spooky experiences for families and thrill seekers alike.”

“The Alton Ancestors are extremely popular with our guests for their exciting dance routines. We love seeing guests interact and have spooky fun.”
