Jean-Claude Van Damme claims Vin Diesel didn’t want him to join the FAST AND FURIOUS franchise

Jean claude van damme wanted to get into the Fast and Furious film series, and apparently, some producers also wanted him at one point, but according to the action star, vin Diesel he wasn’t interested in bringing him into the franchise.

The Telegraph quoted this as saying: “Van Damme has also lost a role in another mega-franchise. “They want me in Fast and Furious,” he says. And what a casting that would be. But Vin Diesel said, ‘No, I don’t want it.’”

It’s unknown which film in the franchise it was, but it was around that time that the actor became involved The Mercenaries 2. He played the villain in the 2012 film, which means he must have been in negotiations for both Five quick OR Fast & Furious 6.

Regardless, Diesel simply didn’t want Van Damme to be a part of it. There’s no reason to explain why, but with that movie franchise the way it is, Van Damme would have fit right in with the over-the-top insanity of it all.

Van Damme spoke about the type of films being made these days, saying, “People drive Teslas on screen. Beautiful and perfect CGI. And maybe some people want to go back to manual transmission for a while. Some people. Do you know what I mean by metaphor? I’m a manual transmission.

And, from here on out, I will only think of Jean-Claude Van Damme as a stick shift.
