Inside the insane $40 million Florida mansion once owned by F1 driver Nigel Mansell, with THREE HOUSES, 30 bedrooms and even its own military tower

Once owned by an F1 driver, this property certainly has the va-va-vroom factor.

Complete with a 10-car garage, 20 bedrooms, a full-size basketball court, tennis court and three swimming pools, 802 Druid Rd in Clearwater, Florida hit the market for $39.9 million.

The opulent home that once belonged to British racing driver Nigel Mansell even has its own watchtower, which served as a military fort in the early 19th century.

To publicize his offer, the house’s current owner invited YouTuber Enes Yilmazer to film an extensive tour, and it’s clear that even he is impressed by the scale of the place.

“We have 20 bedrooms in this house. We can’t visit all of them, it will be a two-hour tour.”

Before entering the main house, which was built in 1915, the property expert comments on the architectural style, describing it as Mediterranean with some “colonial features”.

He then begins his tour in a formal sitting area off the main lobby, complete with two chairs, built-in wardrobes and windows overlooking the motorway.

“Good seat,” says Enes.

He then walks through the kitchen, which is fitted with white cabinets, a large center island and a chic Aga range.

Other spaces he finds on the expansive ground floor are a wine cellar, another formal lounge and a large dining room with seating for ten.

While at the property for filming, Enes used the ballroom as a backdrop for interviews with the property’s current owner, Dr. Stephen Hess, and his famous contemporary artist friend Super Buddha.

During one of his on-camera clips, Dr. Hess says it’s been a “very magical journey” living at 802 Druid Rd and watching his children grow up there, “swinging on the 300-year-old oak trees, playing on the basketball court.’

He adds: “These are just things that will always accompany me. Memories I will never lose.”

Enes goes upstairs to find a royal cinema decorated in red and gold, a wood-paneled office with Nigel Mansell’s signature etched in gold on the floor, and soft carpets lining the landing of the designer fashion house Versace.

He also showcases a handful of cavernous bedrooms, including the massive master suite.

“The size of this room is insane,” he exclaims, adding, “We have hardwood floors, [a] seat at the entrance, [a] travertine center coffee table, [and] of course with fireplace, TV.’

Another thing Enes highlights is the abundance of art, with nude portraits adorning the walls and a sculpture of the female form.

From the bedroom, the YouTuber leads viewers into the master bathroom, which features a “massive built-in jetted tub next to the windows” and a walk-in closet with dozens of shoes on display and a Louis Vuitton-print rug.

In addition to the main house, there are two other houses on the property, one with seven bedrooms and the other with three bedrooms.

Although there is ample parking for cars, there are also two docks outside the house where superyachts can moor.

Towards the end of Enes’ video, home owner Dr. Hess shared some wisdom, saying, “Money comes and goes…but one of the things you never get back is time, so it’s the experiences that really count.”

The entrepreneur concludes: “Therefore, the next person who becomes the next owner of this house is very blessed in the sense that they will have magical moments, magical memories that they cannot create in other properties. .’
