The world’s 50 most attractive nationalities have been revealed – and it’s India at number 1 while the US beats Sweden to number two.
The ranking is based on an analysis of thousands of Reddit posts about attractive countries. All Reddit posts related to “attractive”, “sexy”, “beautiful”, “attractive”, “beautiful”, “attractive”, “beautiful” and “hot” with a country were analyzed. Then a score was created based on the number of posts, comments and upvotes.
According to swimwear brand Pour Moi’s survey, Japanese women are the fourth most beautiful, Canadians are the fifth most beautiful and Brazilians are the sixth most beautiful.
The rest of the top ten consists of France (seventh), Italy (eighth), Ukraine (ninth) and Denmark (10th).
The UK misses out on a place in the top 10 – coming in 12th. However, the survey revealed that British men are considered the most attractive.

In the ranking of the “most attractive male nationalities”, India is second, followed by Italy, the USA and Sweden in fifth place.
The ranking of “most attractive female nationalities” is led by India, with Japan in second place, Sweden in third place, Poland in fourth place and Italy in fifth place.

As part of the study, Midjourney, an AI image generation tool, was tasked with creating images of how attractive people look in 14 of the countries.
Pour Moi said, “When it comes to the most attractive women in the world, Indian women top the list of Reddit users. With a hugely successful Bollywood film scene featuring women wearing beautiful dresses and equally striking makeup and hair, it’s easy to see why these women have been crowned the most attractive.

The rest of the top three are Japanese and Swedish women. Both with their own unique looks, Japanese women often sport super clean looks that are the envy of fashionistas around the world, while Swedish women are often photographed opting for a more understated, minimalist style, often accompanied by their recognizable blonde locks.”
It added: “For the most attractive male nationalities, the UK tops the list with online users who may swoon over the quintessentially British handsome man you think of from classic period dramas like Pride & Prejudice, or a more modern heartthrob.
“Indian men are second most attractive men, whether it’s their sultry looks that attract people or their typically strong family values that people find attractive.
The top 3 are Italian men who are known for their passion for life and are more expressive in their feelings. It’s easy to see why users would find her so attractive.”
