Amanda Death’s phone said someone was at the door. She looked at her video doorbell’s security camera… and saw a blurry face staring back.
Her clever cat, Izzy, climbed over her wisteria and jumped on her mailbox to alert the motion sensor on her doorbell.
Izzy, who is just eight months old, even meowed using her Ring Video Doorbell 3 Plus’s two-way talk feature to let her know he wanted to come in.

Miss De’ath, in her 40s, from Ely, Cambridgeshire, said: “He is an adventurous kitty, enjoys climbing and is quite boisterous.”
The nurse said Izzy had repeated the trick several times since discovering it – and it came in handy as her glass doors were not designed to accommodate a cat flap.
