Japanese publisher Shueisha has launched MANGA MILLION, a new digital platform offering a catalog of more than 400 free online manga series without prior notice.
The publisher released the platform to celebrate its 100th anniversary, taking the manga community by surprise.
The digital library features series of all kinds, including titles such as One Piece, Naruto, and the classic Capitán Tsubasa (Oliver y Benji).
The platform has an expiration date and will remain available until December 2027. Access is currently limited to the website because Shueisha has not released a mobile application for iOS and Android, nor indicated whether it plans to launch one.

Shueisha designed the service for global readers, offering manga in more than 50 languages, with Spanish among them. The website interface is structured to be easy and intuitive for users.
A direct access menu at the bottom of the screen offers options for popular, anime, finished, ongoing, and all titles. Reading a chapter requires clicking on a preferred manga and selecting the chapter. Users can sort chapters from the beginning or from the end, and a summary is displayed in the header of each title.
For readers seeking a mobile application alternative, Shueisha also operates MANGA Plus, which features dedicated apps for iOS and Android.
