Supermarket chain Plaza Vea will close all of its stores across Peru early at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 12. The company announced that regular operating hours will resume nationwide on Thursday, August 13.

The temporary adjustment applies to store locations in different parts of the country. Plaza Vea asked shoppers to take precautions to prevent any inconvenience caused by the early closing time.
Company representatives advised customers to organize their grocery purchases in advance. The business also recommended accounting for the schedule when picking up orders placed through its digital platforms on Wednesday afternoon.
Reason for early closure
The change in service hours responds to a special event organized for company staff. Plaza Vea stated that its establishments will close earlier than usual for the employee workday, though it did not detail the specific activities planned for workers.

Plaza Vea noted that the adjustment is strictly temporary for August 12. The single-day change does not represent a permanent modification to standard store operating hours.
