Phillip Schofield, 64, has seen his fortunes plunge since leaving ITV's This Morning, with company filings showing his media firm Fistral Productions added just £7,248 to its reserves in its latest financial year.
The figure marks a dramatic reversal for the former daytime television host, who once earned more than £1million a year at the height of his career. Schofield co-hosted This Morning for 20 years alongside Holly Willoughby before quitting in May 2023 after admitting he had lied about an affair with a much younger male colleague.
Companies House records show Fistral Productions held more than £3million in assets before the Covid-19 pandemic, and was adding hundreds of thousands of pounds to its reserves each year during that period. The latest accounts also suggest the company, which Schofield controls with his estranged wife Stephanie, 62, let go of its only employee last year.
Property and business interests
Another company controlled by the couple, Fistral Properties, is £96,470 in debt despite having bought an £861,000 investment property, according to its accounts.
Schofield still lives in a six-bedroom bachelor pad in Chiswick, west London, which he bought for £2million in August 2020 and which has electric security gates.
Schofield came out as gay during a live interview on This Morning with Willoughby in February 2020. He is married with two daughters, Molly, 33, and Ruby, 30.
Cast Away comeback attempt
In 2024 Schofield attempted a comeback with Channel 5's Cast Away, spending ten days alone on an island off Madagascar. During the show he criticised former colleagues whom he accused of failing to support him.
His wife and daughters appeared in the series, with Schofield saying his family's love for him had "never wavered." Molly left her job as a talent agency manager after his affair was exposed, but later acted as his de facto publicist.
Family distance on social media
Neither daughter has featured their father on their public Instagram pages in recent years. Molly's last photo of him dates from July 2018, while Ruby's only post featuring him was posted in June 2014.
Schofield's own Instagram account is similarly sparse. He follows just eight accounts, including Formula 1 drivers Lewis Hamilton and Lando Norris, along with comedian and actress Dawn French, the only showbusiness friend on his list.
