Greek actress Penelope Anastasopoulou and her husband Fotis Benardo marked 13 years since their first date on Saturday by returning to the exact same table.
The couple, who married in 2015 after two years together, have established an annual tradition of booking a date at the same venue and table to reflect on their life and relationship.
Writing on Instagram on Saturday, August 29, Anastasopoulou revealed that every year at the same time, she and Benardo sit at the same table to take stock of their journey. She stated that each year they arrive at the same conclusion, realizing how deeply they love each other, admire one another, and respect each other's flaws.
Anastasopoulou added that they both do everything possible to improve for one another and for their daughters. Describing Benardo as the light of her life, she recalled watching him approach her 13 years ago and knowing within the single minute he took to cross the street that he was the one.
