On the website Modeller.com there was a vote for the “qualification” of the portal: for two weeks, fashion industry professionals and users of the resource chose the best models of 2022 in seven categories – “Female Model of the Year”, “Male Model of the Year”, “Breakthrough Woman of the Year” Breakthrough, Men’s Breakthrough of the Year, Public Figure of the Year, Model of the Year with Acting Career and Lifetime Achievement Award.

On the coast, it can be noted that the results of some nominations turned out to be quite predictable – after all, the main names of the year sounded loudly from every iron. On the contrary, others have become a real discovery even for us. Well.

Female Model of the Year

The most logical winner was, of course, “Female Model of the Year”. No drums – Bella Hadid won the award. We’ve honestly lost count of how many influencers left the shows during Fall Fashion Weeks. The same can be said for fashion campaigns and glossy magazine covers. And by the way, previously Bella was the most stylish star on the planet, according to GQ. No wonder that.

Male Model of the Year

However, the “Male Model of the Year” was Elton Mason, 25, who was in the 30-30 age bracket in the “Art and Style” category on the Forbes list last year. On the model’s account, participation in the shows of such famous brands as Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Diesel, and only Gucci and Michael Kors campaigns and the cover of Numero. In general, this year Elton had only one dream.

Breakthrough of the Year

Both in the “Breakthroughs of the Year” account, the opinions of industry professionals and site users are radically divided.
